Automatic to Manual Transmission...
I am doing this trans swap in my 70 Firebird right now, and I can tell you it is 50x harder to do it in a FWD car with todays complex systems. As the rest have said, I'd leave that one alone and look forward to your next SS purchase with a manual trans. That makes a lot more sense. I sure don't regret buying mine even when being caught in rush hour traffic. This clutch is pedal is a breeze compared to the catapult spring on my Bird!

If you don't have a driver already, I'd love the spot (we'll need to mod the ****pit to fit my fat ash). If not, maybe I can be an umbrella girl???

edit: hahahahahahahaha... apparently my reference to the seating area in the car where driver controls are located is a bad word.
