Best place to buy Stage 1 Upgrade?

I have heard many places that sell it but I going to buy the kit soon and have it installed.

What I want to know is where the best place to buy the upgrade from? Who has the Best Price, reasonable shipping and good customer service?

Did you guys have it shipped to a dealer to have it installed? What was the price for parts, shipment, and installation? Now that I have decided not to pass the SS down to my daughter, I am reconsidering getting the Stage 1.

Geg, I'm sure if he can't one of us can. I'm more than willing to help you. Have him send it to me and I will help get it to you. Shipping it to Michigan isn't much considering the costs to ship to Russia.

Stage 1 Installation on Long Island

Heh Folks,

If I might add to this thread, I have pretty much decided to purchase a Stage 1 kit for my 2008 HHR SS manual. Any one have any success with an installer on Long Island? My (not so local) dealer, Robert Chevrolet in Hicksville, never heard of it, never did one, is not interested in doing one and probably wishes I would go away...

Base on numerous comments in the forum, the success of this worthwhile upgrade seems to be critically dependent on the installer. Anyone have any luck out my way?

I purchased mime from www.gmpartsdirect.com for $470 shipped and Burlington Chevy down the road from us installed it for $190 and the parts were shipped to the house. Any questions give me a call, you have my number.
