Agreed x2! I can relate since after installing the new IC and piping I've noticed that boost in 1st gear has tapered off to 10lbs, then it'll go up to 15lbs. I'm one of those folks that's getting used to the "variable" boost on the SS vs the more traditional way of seeing a boost gauge peg at a certain psi and stay there until someone shifts into another gear (like say an SRT4).

My car doesn't build boost for launch control though.

I can recall it doing so previously.

I found a video of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhmGd...eature=related

Exactly......it was the same way when they added the information systems years ago! Just generated a bunch of complaints as people had no clue how they operated! Dealers should have the ability to set them to "stupid" mode. IMHO of course!

Reminds me of a story.....Da wifey and a girlfriend had me in tow on one of their trips and I kept saying "idiot light". The girlfriend wanted to know why I called warning lights "idiot lights", I calmly replied so any idiot would know that something is wrong with the car. I was able to ride undisturbed for the remainder of the trip as she was highly offended! I don't know why?

Even idiot light is not a good term. I knew a girl once who put tape over one of her lights. Her dad saw it and asked why it was there, she said it was shinning in her eyes at night. He pulled it off and it was the oil light. Thank God Toyota used bad sending units as this engine would have been toast.

Wrong.

Boost is the measure of air that DIDN'T make it into the engine. It will vary with temperature, throttle position, engine load, cam phasing, RPM, and astrological sign.

So a car under the sign of Picses will out run a Gemini?

I doubt it isint the sign Gemini 2 so with that being said you'd have to out run 2 or do better than 2? Or it could mean just the opposite they have twice the issues?

But the sticker that comes with the kit and placed in the correct area for all to see, should fix all of this.

Yes! And if you outline it with a ( color of your choice) Sharpie, its good for an additional 1 lb of boost pressure on a full moon at high tide.......
