If any Canadian HHR SS owners are wondering the price of a kit. I have a friend tell me he recieved a quote of almost $1100 Can. That does not include the install of 2-3 Hrs($130/hr). PS-Close your mouth.

 

I purchased one from crateenginedepot.com and with the exchange, and duty, it cost me about $850. just for the parts. I"m waiting on my next oil change for install. All in all, if the dealership charges me 2hrs, then it will be around the $1100 range once finished.

 

I have an extra one that I can sell to you for $563 + shipping = $585 total...

 

In this case it pay's to have someone working at the dealership, $750 to an employee.

Really gouging on it aren't they?

 

I had a quote at the dealer I bought it for, a few days after the p/n came out, at arond $950 CDN+ tax.
The guy asked if bought it there, so probably a bit of a deal.

 

I bought mine through a great member on this forum for $585us shipping included. My install was $400Can.

 

Good luck on a 2hr install in Canada. Mine was $400Can.

 

Cokeybill what dealer did you get your's installed at? I'm in Toronto and want to get the stage kit done this spring but I want to take it to a dealer that's done a few and does a good job at it.
