Chinese Turbos

I always fall back to my Uncles advice , you get what you pay for.
And Ray Stevens, our car owner and crew chief, he used to say, “go cheap and you go home”
Meaning the part won’t stand up for the main and break during qualifying.
And my Dad’s words still hold water, if you’re gonna repair anything, do it right the first time.
Get quality parts, a little more money or double the cost? Which is the better deal?

Im going to buck the trend a little, I have had good experiences with chinese turbo's on LS powered vehicles. My brother is currently making 800hp with a $399 76mm. I will say that I dont think you will get quite as long of a life, but probably still fairly long. maybe 50k-100k instead of 100k+
