I wish! Been waiting on those damn springs for a couple of weeks now.
If I have to call Josh back up, about the springs, then I'll run it by him about testing the CAI. I've already jerked his chain a couple times already, and left him spuddering. "Moon"

Sitting on the edge of my seat for this CAI. I do want one for my SS... just don't see the value in the current offering from K&N.

Keep holding your breath! there have been people on here waiting for over 2 years for a CAI...... nobody can deliver because your car needs to be tuned for it to work....... since all "do-able" parts throw codes, so you take a small market and then cut it in half for the people who would buy this product, and your looking at under 5,000 units period. I'm suprised there are still IC tubing available in any number, since no new major advancements are coming our way. instead we get hand me downs, from other platforms, that might work on our cars.

I'm beating a dead horse here but technically we already have a CAI. the air is drawn in from the passanger side wheel well by the door where it meets the front qtr panel. I wish someone else would verify this, so we can bury the CAI for good. there is batting in this location but you can clearly hear it drawing air from this well protected area (water)

to test. Open pass door, start car and listen to the wheel well suck in air until it gets positive flow. or for pete's sake tell me to stuff it on this issue.

ChevyMGR could you put this to rest for me?

i have to disagree with you. hahn obviously have the technolgy to make it work without a tune...works for the cobalt guys, which share the motor. why we don't have it or can use one for a balt??? completely different engine compartments and the motors sit a little different.

Hann couldn't draw cold air because of the compartment, and thats why his CAI has been in development for over 2 years, and likely won't appear since he is moving to florida! you, batman and GCSD are the only ones close.....but alas tuned. Batman is getting cold air from a scoop, GCSD had one made and then had an upright frame member cut to help draw air.... My point wasn't to cause a pissing match it was to once and for all point out that the tube coming out of the airbox is going to the fender well.....ya know outside the engine bay...... where cold air comes from...... ya ever stop to think that, that might be the reason we have been twiddling our thumbs for two years, added to the fact that small numbers means costly tool up. I mean good god, even the K&N set-up is a stubby tube, a taller lid, and filter...... and with amount of crap K&N makes if they didn't bring one to market no-one will.

no pissing match, just saying i think we will see one by the end of the year...to me,imo a tube going directly to the turbo vs coming from the fender to a "hot box" to be sucked by a cone, wins. for a stock system,it's pretty good, but not great.
