Dejon Downpipe?

The dejon downpipe is my next purchase. I already have the GMTU and a dejon intake. Just not sure if the downpipe is worth almost $300.00.
What do you think? Other quality options?

/\ That's not a downpipe

ummm

ZZP
Clear Image Automotive
Badmab
Modern Performance
Over the Top Performance
etc.

ZZP would be your best bet for a stainless downpipe with no cat.

Yeah, Thats the HOT SIDE IC PIPE.

With any DP your gonna have to re-tune, or risk a reduced power CEL, and several O2 related codes. even with a hi-flow cat.

I can answer this

Today I swapped out my ZZP spun metal cat dp for a Dejon catless dp model. (To help the big turbo breath better)

I also owned a ZZP catless a year or so ago (should have kept it).

The ZZP build quality is superior, plain and simple. Thicker flanges and better welds, there is no comparison really.

The used Dejon I got off my friend had a 1/16 size pin hole in the weld, that went all the way through after further investigation (I fixed it with a welder). The welds looked like they were stopped and started about 3 times, and do not look like they penetrated as well as ZZP's (beautiful continuous welds).

To Dejon's defense they did offer to fix it for free if he paid for shipping up and back.

If/when this Dejon DP fails, I'm getting a ZZP catless again. I'm just going to use this to get by with for now.

Ok. Im sold on ZZP. I am ready to order my catless (offoad w/02) DP. One question, will it fit the factory exhaust? I will probably order thier exhaust next but just to double check, this is all direct fit from the cobalt SS to HHR SS (LNF) right?

Yes HHR SS and Cobalt SS/TC DP's are interchangeable on the manuals and will fit factory exhaust.

I'm not sure about the automatic HHR SS.

How is Kansas these days? I use to live in Manhattan, Junction City and the last place was Concordia.

Its still Kansas. Weather is unpredictable and it smells like crap all the time, but I love it here. Go figure. Thanks for the response. I am going to order it right now. The catless exhaust that they offer sounds good too. That is next.
