DMH Cut Out for HHR SS

Since Eric (gcsd3742) is out of town, and I'm his Fiance, I thought I'd share this. Just received from the man in brown....

I have one from DMH as well which is on my '02 Silverado, but not black powder coated, which I'm wishing mine was. Now I'm jealous.

It's a switched valve that will allow him to run open downpipe at will.

Tell Eric congratulations for me. I have decided not to go this route, but I can't wait to see how his works out. :)

I'm not sure about that particular model. I have one that can be put into a three inch exhaust with clamps, if you're interested. I think Eric plans to have his welded into his downpipe. She probably knows all of the details.

No one's an idiot here... This is the similar application that I have on my '02 Silverado, and some have heard the nasty sound that comes off a V8.

Really thought, this a great performance modification, it allows the vehicle to full breath... and I can say it adds to the ponies.

Throw the O2's, nah just program around it, is what I've done on the Silverado. I'm sure there's a way to do the same on the HHR SS. Plus Eric had the bung hole install JIC.

Where/how is this installed, how much does it cost, and what are the +/-'s?
