Cool Does Stage 1 Upgrade work on 2010 HHR SS?

I'm getting a new 2010 HHR SS, next month and I want to put the Stage 1 Upgrade on right away. I just want to make sure. I will also be putting the 3" Flow Master Cat Back on right before the Stage 1, does this make a diffence with the programming? Thanks for the help!!

Yes. You can get the LNF turbo upgrade kit GM part # 19212670 (AKA the stage 1 kit) for the 2010 HHR SS.

I have no idea about the flow master though.

I've yet to see any proof that a cat back adds anything but noise.
My SS started getting a bit louder at 10,000 miles with stock exhaust and IMHO is quite pleasing as is.

This is what I have been told and have read. For the amount of money for little gain, IMO it is not worth it to me. The best gains from exhaust mods come from a downpipe. I went with a catless downpipe and only have set one code in almost 4000 miles. Haven't done any dyno testing for results but the turbo spools a little faster and the sound is much improved during 1/2 to full throttle. Sounds almost stock just crusing. Plus, its a lot cheaper than a cat back!!

I put down about 30whp more with a stage kit and bolt ons then a guy with just the stage kit. THe downpipe will give you the most and the catback will open it up a little. Maybe like 5whp MAYBE
