Ethanol 101 , The best performance fuel for your HHR SS
I've used vince for my HHR and my Impala SS.
The Impala tune shut the fans off and it overheated. He eventually fixed it, but I left the tune off, couldn't run the risk of frying the engine.
The HHR SS had two tunes I tested, one was a screamer but not as reliable, so I took it out.
Later data logged the the HHR SS and he wrote a milder one, tried it but didn't see much difference, so I run without it.
I wanted the 1-2 shift done but Vince can't do that on a 2008, only a 2009 and I asked for a few more things, but haven't heard from him in a month.
IMO
P.S. In all fairness I think Vince does a pretty good job, it just seems he has a lot on his plate. Doing it again, (if I did it again), I'd go to a tuner that had access to a dyno and could dial the car in themselves, then check everything, then make changes.
The only thing I want is a little more boost and that dreaded 1-2 kick off that happens either under torque management or hitting the rev limiter. I'm not sure which it is, but I know it's not good for the car to blast off the line, then have a complete engine shut down, then back on at 100%.
They're has to be a smoother way to do this.
IMO

Found this video of me going 13.13 on street tires, at the end of 2010.
This was with Term2 tune.
In the 'text', he states that he saw one of my 110mph passes.
He also said that I was older, I'll be 60 next year...

2005HHRauto, I want to thank you for sharing your E-47 Tune, all I can say is unbeliveable, with HPTuner we can run the tune to match the type of fuel in the tank, glad I didn't go with Trifecta.
