If its the one posted above, a litle to much for my blood, I will probably go with a spec 3+ I'm looking at a possible clutch upgrade summer or early fall. Who did the install, the stealership? Don't know if I'd trust anyone to pull the LNF engine/trans apart except maybe the dealership.

Ahh now I see the exedy comes with the flywheel, but after you add a new flywheel in with the spec 3+ it comes out about the same. So your lookin at 1k for clutch and flywheel regardless.

So now that I got that figured out, how much are we looking at for install price roughly?
I would not go to a dealer to do this. They dont even know what theyre talking about when it comes to the car itself. Plus book time for the job is 8 hours. I paid 400 to gt this installed and it took the guy about 4.5 hours. The owner of the shop was nice enough to let me "behind the scenes" to take a glimpse here and there. And YES it is a lot of work to drop our trans..

I was looking at this kit instead of getting the Spec 2+ plus there flywheel. I've started to hear bad things about some of Specs products regarding there quality. My question with the Exedy kit is the flywheel it comes with, is it a lighter then the stock one? Is that why it comes with the clutch or is it for spacing and fitmint. Will just there clutch not bolt right up to the stock flywheel?

Our stock flywheel wighs 35lbs and the one that comes with the exedy is 8lbs
