For those whose stage 1 kits have been installed correctly do you have any regrets about it. I guess since you can't test drive one with a kit it's hard to know what to expect as far as engine noise, or reliability issues.
No regrets what so ever! The difference is noticeable and your not going to get anywhere near as large of a HP and Torque gain for the money making any other mods!

Yes, some of us that did the 1st installs had some issues, but I think those are pretty much worked out. I don't see any long term reliability issues. If something on the install was done wrong, it should show up soon, and is covered under warranty.

No regrets at all.The best money I could ever spend on any modification. The 100K warrantee is an added bonus. Not everyone has had a horror story on the install. Even with the trouble that I encountered, I'd still do it again for the first time.

Reliability Issues?

These are not reliability issues with the kit. These are issues with the Delaer install. Everyone of these has come from an issue where the install was not done correctly or completed correctly and they was posted to help the HHR owners with any diagnostic issues after the install. By far the majority of the kits are being installed without any problems.

I haven't had a single bad issue with mine since the upgrade. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Cool

I guess the bad experiences are just more vocal. Good to hear that once it's done right things are pretty smooth.

Yes, being one of the first you can get that feeling of what have I done. Did I just elect to break my car. But once your install gets straighten out and it will. The fun is fully worth it. I've had the install for about 1 month and the only issue you'll encounter is having to get you foot off the gas. This is the most enjoyable car I have ever owned.

Do I go to the dealer to get that issue corrected?

Nah a lighter foot mod would help though

Isn't that the same as the egg under your right foot mod?

Lars, there is another issue that you will have to deal with after the install is corrected. Your tire wear will increase bad bad bad.
