I'm a little disappointed that the boost is similar to the numbers the rest of us are seeing, even with the wider sensor range. I know that the turbo is the major limitation, but still, a man can dream. I'm beginning to think that GM may have created this kit with the aftermarket in mind, including big turbo possibilities and further tuning.

Its possible but keep in mind it was only 16 degrees out. I wish I could put a bigger turbo on but I do like the warranty

Very true about the 16 degree temp. You normally won't see near the boost when its that cold out. It has been in the single digits here the last couple of days and after the car is warmed up and mildly "gettin after it" I normally only see around 3-4 pounds of boost.

You also have to remember that it is still a GM with warranty tune. With out the Stage tune the boost was what, about 15 PSI? With the ADM Stage II tune mine would flash to 23+ and come back down to 22 which was the max the sensor and ECM could handle. Give it a couple weeks until some of the people that have been doing the tuning get a chance to look at it, if they can. That is what I want to find out, are they going to be able to pull the GM Stage tune out and look at it to see if some of the original parameters are still there.

I do agree with you on one point though, I believe GM did create this kit with the aftermarket in mind.

there is no set boost level, the kit is ment to keep the hp at 290 and 315tq so the boost fluctuates depending on atmosphereic conditions. Besides the fact that so what it only boost 20lbs more power with less boost is always better no matte how you spin it

Except there's no magic pixie dust controlling things here. Boost is a direct contributor to power output.

If you don't mind me asking, what did they charge you to do the install? I just purchased and I want to make sure that my dealer dosen't screw me on the install.

I talked to my dealer last week & then today and says GM has not released
an installed/labor time to install

So they dont know what they should charge. I told them i heard it was running around 90-100 bucks installed out the door.

Still waiting to here back so i can get the kit installed
