Got the GMPP upgrade today.

Dropped the car off early today for the GMPP stage kit today. The tech never had put a GMPP kit on a HHR SS before. He had it installed in under 2 hrs, got the SS back and its running great. I'm pulling between 18-20 psi, I could only get 15 psi max before the install. I read some where it takes the stage kit 5-6 key cycles to fully learn the new flash? So does this mean that the car possibly gets a little faster? When the wife drove it right after pick up she could only manage 18 psi max, she came home, I drove it 15 min later and could manage 20 psi. She does know how to drive a turbo car (5 spd to boot), she drove my other turbo cars and embarrassed more then one ricer on ocassion, . I saw some people were getting 20-24psi with the GMPP install. Now I do live in Alabama, aka humidity hell and know this will effect the boost.

I had mine done about 3 weeks ago and love it. No problems at all. Before I had the upgrade I would get around 18psi now 22 :) Next on my list is a downpipe

The amount of boost depends on the temperature and altitude/barometer. As for "learning the tune". It does not learn the tune, but if you production cal had learned down at all it may take a few key cycles to undo the learn down since that feature is turned off it the kit. Therefore, some people seem to experience the kit getting stronger after a few key cycles.

Athens, Alabama, straight up I-65, my dealer (Champion Chevy) originally charged me for 2 hrs installation (180.00), but when i picked it up it took less time to install and they charged like 175.00. It wasn't a huge price difference but nice to know they actually charged for the actual time. I'm sure any dealer that has a good tech could do the install with no problems since the revision changes on the install. There you go
