I thought someone else on here posted an 8.6 in the eighth?
either way if you are still running the gmtu upgrade
That pretty much says that you can make as much power with a gmtu as with a hptuner tune?
Are you still running the gmtu?

Yes, but the 8.6 was with slicks. I thought they pulled their post, under contention.
And yes just gmtu and bolt ons.

I stand corrected.

Those are some awesome times with a gmtu or Any tune for that matter.
Hope to get my gmtu soon.

(again, will sping the tires, unless I leave the traction control on) all I know is any boost over 20 psi will spin the tires- if you car is not spinning them, then you not making power. My stock clutch would also not hold any boost over 20psi, had to goto a KY clutch. This is with a LSD, intercooler upgrade and downpipe upgrade. I have tried BFG KD2 tires (very loud tread and also can't hold the power) and the best so far are the continental extreme DW. I dumped the stock tires the first month after it was new.
My auto hhr ss probably putting more to ground than your manual fyi so apreciate it or dont. My post was to mention learn throttle feathering to keep
This is my first and last fwd vehicle
I tried kd2s on my vette and hated them
Run drag radials currently on my hhr so cant really compare but before was running Conti ultra summer tires and worked great running 245/40/18s

Big power improvement even without the tune? What boost level are you seeing?
Initially it was boosting at 25 psi and helping me sit firm into my seat. It has since thrown a CEL as it did before the operation. I think I may have a bad O2 sensor. It won't let me boost over 15 psi until I clear it. Even at 15 it is pretty impressive though. Limping at at 15 psi it still beats the GMTU pretty well

James you are on a whole different level man. Unlike most on here you fully understand lnf and how tune
Hahn would be wise take note of that instead of letting Vince continue to pretend he has a clue
