Funny, now that the pipes are at my house, it's getting too damn cold to get out in the garage and put them on (*cough* thanks Hahn! *cough*) ! I'll probably wait till Spring (or my upcoming Christmas vacation if I feel up to it) to install these now...

I put in the 3 piece section in today in about 40 degree weather. My premium membership has expired, so no pic posts till this weekend, but I got some decent install shots. Only took about an hour and a half with prep and clean-up. If it stays like it was today, I'll do the other side tomorrow.

From what I did today, there is a huge change in the ability to hear the turbo, I love it! this is what it should have sounded like from the factory!

The other thing that was vastly improved was the 2 more lbs of vacumn i got. with the stock pipes, I was seeing about negative 18, now it sits solidly on -20. apparently I had a small leak in the rubber/plastic combo pipe.

I can't say I am looking forward to the last pipe, it looks like a pain in the ass to get at!

I got the SS as a "Daddy Wagon" when our son was born. six bills don't come easy with a baby around.

I agree! Unless you have tiny girly hands and arms, it's a hell of a tight fit for the cold side pipe.

Got around to "trying to" install the cold side pipe yesterday....and well, it still sits in the driveway waiting to be finished. If I had to do it again, I would omit this 4th pipe and leave it stock, but alas, since I broke the vacumn nipple on the stock piece I have no choice but to use this >POS< pipe.
The problem with HANN's cold-side pipe is numerous. 1st you have to reverse the T-Map otherwise it definately hits the AC compressor, 2nd the pipe and the rubber couplers are just long enough to "pop off" if not properly tightened--there is litterly not much play available with this pipe. 3rd because you have to turn the T-Map around you now have to push the radiator foward about an inch or so otherwise you will be hitting the T-Map wiring on the black plastic fan shroud where it bulges out to support the bottom of the cloudly plastic radiator over-flow resivoir ....I will be fabbing these two pieces this morning, adding, and putting them on in the rain.(I can't stand having my baby just sitting there in the driveway, with new toys on it).

I have all the important install and curse shots, and will post when I can...... Right now, I'm off to Autozone for a couple of nuts and bolts and some lock-tite. I'll let ya know how the install finishes up, but, if I had to do it again, I would leave the stock piece in place, or have a professional monkey do the wrenching .

As far as the top-side piping, I really enjoy the look, and sound improvment. I can also, say that even though the HP increase is negligable the ability for the turbo to spool up faster is vastly improved, eventhough I have the tune, I had not noticed the turbo holding at 20+ for longer than a few moments. Now, it gets there very quick and holds far longer than expected before shifting. So far I am very happy with the performance of the product, not too much with the fit and finish and ease of install(cold-side pipe).
I will update!
