I couldnt believe this!!!!
I'm talking about the map installation. I want it warrantied so I am not going to bypass the formal flash process. One dealer told me the certificate covers the cost of flashing and I wouldn't be charged anything extra for that part. One other dealer tacked it on for .5 hours. Still collecting quotes.
Everything is ok.

upgrade.
we just paid the dealer for the upgrade on our brand new 2010. with labor and tax it was $801... but....its alot of bang for the buck, compared to what you get in the aftermarket for other kinds of upgrades. question is, after this where do you go from here?
If you install your own map sensors, you will either (A) have to do it in the dealers parking lot or (B) tow the vehilce to the dealer to be flashed. Plus you lose your 3/36 and 5/100 warranties. All you would have is a 12 month warranty on the parts only. Something to think about.
its now a week... havent drove car too much seeings its been nice and i ride sportbikes... but the install has seem to went successful! tried it out in parking lot saturday night waiting for pizza... tires spin alot even with traction on... haha and i didnt even floor it... NICE I LIKE! smirk hasnt left face, head has swelled though, plenty of cargo room for head swelling left! hahaha
