I need to control the boost

I know it's a issue with the turbo its self on the wastegate. It runs to high of boost and being crappy fuel out here and hot as a mofo, I would like to fix the problem. Is there an adjustment for the turbo? Do I need to replace something? Partnumbers and prices would help. Thanks.

A little more info would help. How much boost? Detonation(pinging) issues? And did you mean "too" much boost. These guys can address most problems with the right information.

well your stage kit is going to command a certain amount of airflow. as you know your air is less dense as it is hotter so you are going to command a higher psi based on what the gms1 tune file commands. you could adjust your wastegate rod....someone chime in as to moving the nut toward or away from the wastegate.

or are you spiking to a rediculous psi? more info may be needed as to the symptoms

Not hard to adjust.....put her up on jack stands slide under the car and u wsill see a long rod with 2 nits at the end of it right under your turbo....one nut obviously locks the other....and moving where they are positioned on the rod adjusts the wastegate.

Once again someone chime in as to which way would increase boost and which way would decrease nopst please as I don't remember

The nut has been known to back off and even fall off completely. I would clean your map sensors and maf sensor as well just for good measure....if they r reading something incorrectly it can screw things up too. I will ask a buddy....he may know
