Could be a boost leak or bad sensors like I said. Do u have hp tuners still?

When the adjusting nuts back off, generally you loose boost... To adjust it, I find it easier to go by the top. Remove the 3 10mm holding on the heat shield, then use a deep socket on a 1/4" ratchet with a back up wrench, if I remember right, it's 10mm too.

To adjust it, loosen them right off, tighten the outside one until you just start to feel spring tension, then tighten it 3 more turns, use the other nut to lock it in place. If the outside one turns during the tightening, you should start over. Then use loctite to keep them in place.

Sounds more to me like the wastegate is sticking than an adjustment though, check that first.

No other mods. Im not sure where my HP tuner is. I will put it up on ramps and look at the wastegate. I wonder if it is messed up.

if you can find the hp tuners and use the vcm scanner to log about a 30 minute drive with stop n go, wide open throttle, redline (if you can get there safely).......various driving conditions especially those that replicate the symptoms, that will help diagnose a LOT

it could come from fueling, airflow, timing, etc, which in turn could be a sensor, boost leak, timing problem who knows......like i said a log would help a lot

I say from the bottom cause you can see everything from there....the wastegate, the rod, the lines, the bypass valve, etc to see if anything is out of place
