I don't know turbos much, but I would think a stuck bypass could cause an overboost.... better wait for the pros to chime in here.

Ok i dropped it off this morning so they can give me the full diagnosis. I only have power train warranty so if its something else causing it, ill just fix it myself. My biggest pet peave with my car is the overboost issue. Im hoping that this code was a final pin point to the issue.

If i floor it, it will jump to 30psi so i can only putt putt. So maybe the stuff just finally took a crap on me even though ive been wondering about the boost issue. Ill know today.

 

Picked it up today and they said they reprogramed it and it cleared out. Now im back at the dealer again with an cel on. Left work and it came on. Ugh ugh ugh.. WTF!!!

 

Which code?? They may have forgotten to plug in a sensor, happened to me when I had the GMTU installed.

 

They had to order a part for the turbo. Not sure what but its something that keeps disconnecting.

 

reprogramming is something they tell you they did when they can't figure out what is wrong. i have had my ecu "reprogrammed" twice for two totally different issues. lmfao
