As far as a good check valve look here, Intercooler Pipe Fabrication Not very expensive and they do work well.
Right now(phase 1), is 2 separate systems. Phase 2 will be vapor drawn from port 2, into a single catch can, with vacuums teed together with a check(PCV) valve in each vacuum line. Phase 3 I will move the vapor draw point to the new port in the intake manifold.

Those check valves look good. I found a few on Amazon that look like they're the same, but there always seemed to be a few reviews that said they just didn't work. I didn't want to take a chance, dealing with returns, shipping charges, yadda yadda. Sourced locally - under $5, no shipping, easy returns, and I knew I could easily modify it to fit.

Aaargh!! If it ain't one thing, it's another. I expect to have results of phase 1 and begin phase 2 soon. I am taking an 800 mile round trip this week(Vegas and back), so after that I'll be close to the 1,000 mile mark.

Understand that one.

This is what I'm working on, Whitewater Rafting in OKC | Boathouse District we are doing the headgate system using water as the fluid medium hydraulics.

RJ, I have 2 of those checks that I sent you the link on, one 3/8" hose barb the other 5/16" hose barb. FWIW they are zero leak, I wouldn't consider as a replacement of the intake PCV though.

You and Dan sure do build some cool chit!!! I appreciate having you 2 here, with your experience and skills! I bookmarked the site for the check valves.

Not sure how that applies catman! Lol, jury is out on that one.

I'm thinking about just starting off with a vacuum pump. Then I don't even need the darn hole I drilled in my turbo (hind sight). For the LHU, LDK crowd we can utilize an exhaust cam driven pump. Which was factory installed on the some Buick's.

For those with the LNF (Gen2) variable I found a little vacuum pump here;
2009 - 2010 Chevy HHR Brake Electric Vacuum Pump from SPEED Manufacturing

It claims that it's for an HHR. I'm calling BS! That's OK, you'll just need a good 12V source and your good to go. Looks pretty small.

Here's a link for the LDK/LHU crowd. The part in question isn't pictured but it's at the bottom of the page. I think for 150 bucks having a constant vacuum is worth it.

Installed my prototype on my truck last night, now I'll have to wait and see how it works. Excuse the dirty grimy engine bay, it's my work truck.

Do you have any pictures of how you built it other than the CAD drawing? I'm curious how you assembled the baffle plates to the down tube.

-Catman, you can get pre cut SS screens for tubing from McMaster. I'm building my cans almost entirely from them.

- Nice doc, that's a start

- Good deal RJ, I just came across that one looking for the Buick's part #. Like I said, it's BS anyway. There was no vacuum pump on an hhr! I like cheaper!
