LHU Swap question

Hi all , I'm a new owner of a '08 HHR SS , it has a 2012 Regal GS engine swap , it hasn't yet been retuned, its using the LNF ecu and runs great , I've read that the injectors flow 10% more fuel at the same impedance, being a FlexFuel engine, but I do see 18 psi of boost and seems to run great , but how much performance/ driveability am I leaving on the table, keep in mind I'm an HHR SS noob , thanks !

You’ll just be running rich if it has opels still in it. If somebody put a bare LHU longblock in, it wouldnt have accessories with it and they might have put the stock injectors back in. A tune will pay for itself in fuel savings by this time next year

Thanks for the response, it does have all the LHU stuff, injectors, manifold, exhaust etc.
I live at 5500' elevation and was worried about possibly washing out the rings, getting it tuned is still about 3 weeks away.

to the forums!

If you bought it with the engine already installed, how do you know if those parts are LNF or LHU parts? Was it a used engine or New?

That's what the shop that changed engines told me and it has an LHU intake manifold , according to some people who are into Ecotec engines here, something about the map sensor mounting holes, and was told it has the FlexFuel 'Opel' injectors, and I think maybe the oil pan is slightly different, I do not know this for fact.
adding info, 11,000 mile GS take out.

Yes, I believe the oil pan is different. Mine took about 7 qts the first fill. I just changed the oil and filter again last weekend, it took about 6.5 qts.

Well I've already learned quite a bit in a short time on this site, and I love this HHR , it pulls hard and I can't wait til it gets leaned out a little , my background is roots Blown Chevy's, but I currently have a twin turbo Nova , and now I've acquired a brand new addiction.
thanks for any info .
