Loose Clamps
#4
I don't have any boost issues, but I wouldn't mind securing for future state.
I haven't crawled under to see yet, is that part of the problem? generic clamps? I have no problem with swapping out stock clamps.
Anybody know which ones are needed? I may pull the beast into the garage this weekend and swap them all out. I have T-Bolt clamps on my 2.0L turbo eclipse awd.....for years with no problems. And the car is 14 years old!

After tightening mine a touch, I see why so many want the intake pipes changed...the Upper pipe from the IC is terrible (flat spots, plast tube, and even a mushy tube as it routes down behind the air box). I will give more serious thought to a Hahn or other setup now. This was one of the first things I did to my Eclipse turbo routing when I bought that vehicle so many years ago.

If a failure is attibuted to the add on accessory, the warranty can be voided for the specific failure or for the entire powertrain system. And now, effective 3/31/2009, if a dealer decides that an accessory was added to the vehicle and caused a failure they can deny warranty and every GM dealer in the nation will also know this as stated in the bulletin linked below.
