Well, if its a repair I would agree with you about not having to pay to train the tech. But since this is an optional modification, and among the first to be done, I can understand why "some" techs may not want to work for a long time on 1 hrs pay. That said, if it was my dealership, or I was the tech, I would accept the standard time and chalk the extra time up to "continuing education" !
