Dunno if they can help you out, but my dealer of choice is Selman Chevrolet in Orange--off the 57 (Chapman and Tustin Ave.).

Good luck and hope to see you at Tom's!

you do not have to have the kit bought where you have it installed.

I did have one dealer offer to price match gm parts direct, so you would save on the shipping.

print out the page and bring it in. They would still make a small profit, just for making a phonecall.

fyi i ended getting it cheaper elsewhere

"To comment on the upgrade...I have hesitated on taking the cars in because I have been told that the kit will govern the car to the 120mph range. While that is probably fast enough, I have had the 5spd up to 135 prior to putting the company logo on. If I take the logo off in the future... I don't what to be hindered when dealing with some euro trash!"

The HHR SS will go past 120 with the GM tune, I can vouch for that personally.

Just going by what the local dealers service mgr. has said. (classic bad info?) I took it as gospel seeing how there is a reflash involved? I used to own a 2000 Silverado 1500 5.3 (stock) that would shut down at 100...very annoying.

Kit does NOT do anything to govern the car. SO your information source is sadly mis-informed.
