old or new?

2008 ss auto 60k. Considering big turbo, intercooler, exhaust, and tune with hp goal of 400 - 425. Question is to do this to an engine with 60k, or spring for a new LDK and build it? Car is not a daily driver, 12k in 3 years to shows and occasional test and tune nights to humiliate Mustang owners. Whats your thoughts? Old or New

Start old, blow it up? Get a new. Lower initial output cost, and still a good chance of getting close to what you want, from what I've read.

I concur with the start with what you have until that breaks then go new, unless you want to sell off some of your old to pay for the new! there is an 08 SS with a blown engine on here in the last couple of days maybe an engine swap and sale to finance you need for speed!!

roll the dice

I've got 200K on mine and in the process of putting a M62 supercharger on it. I'll run it till it breaks then build from scratch.
