Seattle area upgrade

Hi Gang,
Has anyone in the Seattle area done the upgrade and can recommend a dealer who is up the learning curve?
Thanks,
Thatch

Yea I have Stage 1, Burien Chevy, ask for Andy and tell him I sent you.

He installed mine and was very careful and meticulous with it.

How long did it take? Any issues? Is it working well?
Thanks,
Thatch

It took about 2-3 hours for us to install I believe. It was the first time my friend has done a stage 1 install and was being extra careful and double checking everything.

It's still working quite well and is a blast to drive.

Met Beth at Clear Image, very freindly and knowledgable did you do the performance or cosmetic piping, if the performance could you post a couple pics thanks.
Also it sounds like you helped install your stage 1 kit with Andy?

I had Andy install my kit this morning. It took him some extra time on the call-in to get the programming download, but otherwise went fine. I was there for about 3 hours, but was only charged for one. I gave Andy a little extra for being thorough.
The change is dramatic. Not only does it pull a lot harder, but the routine start and stop response at low throttle feels crisper. On the drive down, max boost was 14 on the gauge. On the drive back it went as high as 21 and frequently was at 17-19 when I put my foot in it. So far, I am very pleased.
The only down side is that 3rd gear pulls you into the big citation range in a hurry.
Tuanies, thanks for the recommendation.

BTW, I'm not sure how much guys are paying now for kits from Crate Engine Depot, or other places. I got mine dellivered to my door for $552.50 from Fred Beans GMC in Limerick, PA. Eric there said that he would offer that price (15% off) to anyone else who wanted it. http://fbgmclim.fredbeans.com/parts/order-form.htm

I have the performance piping.

It really makes a difference with the Stage 1 kit. With the new charge piping, power is smoothed out so it doesn't surge as much as with the stock piping.

Thanks for the pics, that really helps.
I just received my panel yesterday and OMG its a butt rocket, can't wiat to add more horse power. Beth at Clear Image is hooking me up with Vince the tuner and were going to see if we can tune on top of the stage 1 kit after I have Andy install it.

Thanks again and hope to meet on the road
