Stage I for 2010

Just picked up my 2010 SS with the 5-speed right after X-mas. I bought it in LA and drove it to Northern California same day and it cruised like the silver surfer it is. I went to the dealer to discuss the turbo upgrade, and it isn't listed in their parts catalog, but the 2008 and 2009 are listed. I went to GM performance parts web site and noticed the same thing. Anyone know what gives? Is this a CA issue or has chevy decided the kit is a risk?

Love the forum.

I've got it on my 2010. There is a calibration download. You will enjoy it and you might want to look into the TTR mount buy on the 2.0 section. I don't know if it too late to save money but I bought my upper before the group buy and it is worth every penny for the increased comtrolability!

Bart, I can't speak to the STOP's as they will not be going on 'til next week.

The upper is a must, in my book, especially with the turbo upgrade. It just makes the additional power so much more usable. You have the LSD and enough upgrades that I think you would appreciate it as well. It cuts down engine movement and reduces torque steer even with the fronts lit at 50mph. You will feel the engine in the steering wheel a bit more but that is a plus for me. Upper install was easy, STOP looks a little more involved but we'll see.

Stage I kit 2010 follow

Since other 2010 SS owners have installed the upgrade, I feel I can get the right part. What I really need is a reputable shop to install that will keep me 100% inside the warranty. The dealer sounds reasonable, but if they don't even carry the upgrade on the catalog, I'm reluctant to ask them to install.

That's not the dealers catalog, it's GM's. The part number works on the 2010 Cobalt and HHR, I know this because we have installed on both models.

NorCal Dealers/Installers

Anyone know of a reputable San Francisco area dealer or installer?
