Stage I adapter harness from crate engine depot

Was still thinking about the Stage I upgrade, but was dissappointed to see that crate and engine depot no longer offers the no-crimp adapter harness. Does anybody know if there is anything similair on the market?

Also, does anybody have any experience with going this route? I know someone posted earlier about it.

I believe that the no-crimp is all that is offered. Unless a dealer has old stock of the original kit.

All the dealers in my area weren't even aware of the new plug-in harness until I showed them mine in the kit.

Re: Stage I Adapter Harness.

Thanks for the good news! I was looking at older posts and the link was broken. I have always been shy about the upgrade becausae I heard a fair share of problems and my vehicle is almost out of the initial 3 year warranty.

One more question, how are are the vehicles doing with the harness? Better dependability? And, what about the placing of the sensor. I have so wanted to have it done, but really don't want the headache becausae the car runs like a swiss watch.

Thanks Again for getting back to me on this!

Re: Orange HHR SS

Couple of questions on the Orange HHR SS. How many miles on it, and is it a manual?

Mine? I have only had the kit on for for 6-7k miles. Mine is an automatic, but your car would be flashed for whichever you have

My turbo upgrade w/the new plug-in harness has been on for a month now. Zero problems.
I did fab a bracket that fits between the oil pan and the lowest point of the intercooler tube(where the sensor is) This bracket will push the tube away from the engine the same amount as any engine torque movement. It keeps the AC compressor from hitting the lower sensor during any high torque engine "rock" episodes. Sorry no pics yet.

If the kit has already been installed I don't think GM will load another VIN with the authorization number in the original kit. It's a one time load and it stays with the VIN it was originally loaded to.
