another member here took his to a Welland dealer that did a great job and charged 2 hours. I plan to take mine there.

 

i test drove the applewood ss with the kit. it constantly downshifted when you accelerate.
once you got going the automatic brakes are not up for the reduction in speed.

just waiting for a price from applewood. i have a 5 speed with brembos, which would solve both issues

 

The shifting is pretty much the same pre vs. post kit install - if you're rolling, you're pretty much going to get a downshift if you floor it.

I do agree that it would be nice to have beefier brakes because the car is a monster now. :)

 

My SS is from Applewood... they had to bring it all the way from Montreal for me though. Jordan was my salesman.

As Cokeybill indicated, a couple of us had out kits installed at Ontario Motor Sales in Oshawa - at the very least, they've done 2 of them now and no surprise issues at all.

courier delivered the package today, couldn't wait and actually had some free time. So drove it over to applewood as was the closest to my house. The install took a couple of hours as was the first day back from the long weekend, so it was a little busy over there. Everything went smooth, and drove home a very happy man. First impression, best upgrade I've ever done to a car for the money. Just put a smile on my face. throttle response has improved greatly no more lag on launch, just takes off. would recommend applewood if its close, but really though its not a hard install so take it anywhere thats done one before, and you should be fine.
