Warranty on the Stage 1 kit in Canada?
Hi,
I am looking to put the turbo upgrade kit on my 2009 HHR SS. My local dealership in Moose Jaw, Sask, Canada is trying to tell me that if I do it will basically void the warranty on the power-train if I do. Is this True? Is there are documentation that I can use to prove this to them?
Any Help would be appreciated!

Print these links out and bring them to your dealer. If they are still skeptical, find another dealer. I brought the GM Tech Link one to my dealer and that's what sealed the deal. They gave me a firm fixed price for the install, because it clarified their scope of work. By the way, they did a perfect job.

It is under full warranty and I have had it done after the kit was done with no issues and a free loaner. That is the main advantage on the GM kit vs most aftermarket kits.
If you have an issue with a aftermarket kit you are at the mercy of the dealer and GM. If they determine the part damaged or broken was due to the modification it is your problem.
