I try to limit my tune to the max psi of the sensor range. I could drop ~$85 on the 3 bar, but with the stock turbo, you are pushing it out of its optimum range pretty soon after about 25psi anyway. If I ever decided to go with a bigger turbo, the 3 bars would be great since I could push a higher psi without as much heat.

Why don't you just go with an e-tune and zzp cams with larger fuel lobe? Your total will probly cost less than a Grand.

So, for those of you in the know, what would be the good and bad of going this route over the turbo swap (or prior to)? The ZZP site shows good gains for the cost.

After my new clutch goes in in a couple of weeks, I won't do anything further than a full bore tune until sometime next year, but I guess its a good time to plan for the future.
