Transmission slip....anyone have any issues?

I have an 09 SS with the Stage 1. I have driving it in Competitive mode alot and every once in awhile, the trans slips from 1st to 2nd.....but during normal driving, for example, when I am at a stop sign and taking off (not hard or fast),it will slip from 1st to 2nd. It does not do this all the time....once in awhile. And its a NOTICEABLE slip.If I hammer it,it wont slip but will hit second hard sometimes(Normal?). Now if I drive in regular mode, it does not slip. If I take it to the dealer, its one of those issues that has to happen randomly...in other words,it most likely will not happen when the tech is testing it. I dont feel this is normal as I worked for Chevy for 23 years and I know their trannys are not the strongest in the world. Anyone have similar issues?

Auto? I know that the Clutch Bands will slip when you max them out and then they go bye bye.

No trans problems that I notice. Not many Comp. mode miles though. Just don't think about switching all the time.
It for sure acts different when in comp. mode up and down shifts.

Automatic. It happens under normal driving, not when I am maxing it out.

Yeah mine did do it today but I was just in "I" and it did do a real slippy feeling 1-2 shift. Not sure what it was doing but it did it. Wasn't in Comp mode though..
