I got pissed since I had to get to work the next day, so I slapped the OEM hotside pipe back on, traded the Hahn pipes for my Aeroforce gauges and didn't have another problem till last week that I posted up. Granted I bought another set of Hahn pipes and am just waiting for better weather to install them (i.e. nice enough to clean out the garage so I'm not layin in wintry crud!) so I'll make sure all connections are tight and retighten them after a few hundred miles to make sure they STAY that way.

I had to purchase a new T-bolt clamp, next size smaller, for the connection you are talking about. Seems as though the silicone couplers that are supplied with most charge piping kits are a hair larger than stock intercooler pipe size. I didn't take a chance of it blowing off because I did not drive it until I changed the clamp. If the clamp is drawn all the way down as far as it will go, you should purchase the next size smaller for it.

Yeah, it seems that the after market intercooler manufacturers make the intercoolers with little smaller diameter pipe than the stock intercoolers have. I don't know about the Crazy Steve, Hahn or Dejon intercoolers but some Cobalt T/C guys say ZZP & MPX are slightly smaller.

You can do the trifecta with HPTuners on top of that. I like my HPtune better because i got my car street tuned so i just trust it more. I mean vince does great work by all means i just didnt want to mess with datalogging and sending files back and forth you know.

Vince sends you a base flash and yeah you load it to your ECU and then he likes you to log it just in case there is anything else that he needs to tweak. With the street tune i got it took 4 hours of ripping on the car on the highway and such to get it right and dialed in

Have you done the dyno Vince has shops around here that you can go to and they run it on dyno I guess to do the tweeking. He also said it wasn't necessary, By now they should know what it needs to start with. It's probably the mods that can require tweaking the tune. Mine doesn't have any except the exhaust.oops and K&N filter, and stg-1

Vince owns a SS that he has done a lot of the adjustments to know what your SS will do.

I have not seen a HPTuners dyno sheet as of yet. But remember if the HPTuners tune is better, why would it do better on top of a Trifecta tune HP base tune?

Just asking.
