Not very pretty, but a lot nicer on the cold mornings. Hockey tape on the seam to smooth it out and quicker than sewing it up. Probably get the Stainless steel ball for the warmer months. I am sure some of you could come up with a cleaner version.

So my leather kluge was just too ugly. Finally sprung for the TWM Stainless Steel Shifter Ball. The extra weight seems to smooth the shifting a bit as a bonus.
