Will the Dejon Upper piping set for a Cobat SS work on an HHR SS

Like the title says Will the Dejon Upper piping set for a Cobat SS work on A HHR SS?

I might be able to get. The cobalt SS pipes at a good price but I am not sure they will fit. The dude at Dejon power house did not give me any info. He said its slightly different but he does not know if it will fit. Anyone done this? I am seeing conflicting info online. Some people say yes while others say no. Please let me know if you have had experience with cobalt SS to hhr SS interchange on this. Dejon charges $20 more for the hhr kit than the cobalt, so it has to be slightly different I think.

Thanks

Adam

if its only 20$ difference, why not buy the kit made for the HHR ?? just my thought .. Its not worth taking shortcuts when you are trying to do performance upgrades.. not being rude just saying.

It won't fit but if modded it could fit.

I did not explain properly. I was going to buy a used set for 100 and I was trying to find out if the cobalt would fit. I agree with you Its not. Worth it on any level to save 20 dollars.

they used to list on their website the difference between the hhr and cobalt lower charge pipe......iirc it was a different coupler to clear the hhr radiator. the upper pipes are the same, just the lower is slightly different.

Ok so what you are saying the charge pipe "hot side" is the same as the cobalt SS but the "cold side" lower pipe set is different? Or is the hot side upper pipe the same and the hot side lower pipe is different?

Thanks for the info I am a complete nube.

On a different note I see genuine sabb has a charge pipe on their site for 125 it lists cobalt and hhr. Looks like the zzp setup. It uses the factory rubber couplings. I could get my own t bolts and that. It might be a good low cost option as well. I will give them a call tomorrow. Is anyone using this setup?

dejon's website is confusing to me. they list their upper pipe kit as different part numbers for the hhr and cobalt as well as having the mentioned $20 price difference. the upper pipes are the same.....lots of hhr guys bought used from cobalt guys with no problems. the lower pipe however i am not sure of. dejon lists the hhr as having an angled coupler to clear the frame. this is the only difference that i am aware of.

check out the cobalt forums regularly and you can find a used set for cheap
