Wire Looms

Wire Looms
As part of my beautification of the engine bay, I m looking to purchase some red corrugated wire loom in various sizes to replace all the black wire loom under the hood. The problem I am having is locating something in RED that meets a good heat rating. The only heat-rated loom I can find is in black. All the red loom I find is only rated to around 200 degrees, is this enough of a heat rating? or will I dry this stuff out in a couple of months? Any Ideas of where to look? MachV out of Virgina sell a 40' package of various sizes, not sure about heat rating...... I've also looked at the Bentley Harris Convo sheild, and I wouldn't be objected to the chrome plating, but I am hearing that this stuff is only good for about 6 months before it starts to flake and lose its shine. I really want a red product

Have you looked into a product called "Flexo Pet"? I believe it's rated a little above 250 degrees. Available in red too!

Thanks Guys!
I looked under the hood real good and determined that most of the wire looms that i want to replace are not heat rated anyway, and if it gets really hot under the hood its probaly on fire! I will post pics of the install. I bought a loom package from MACH V motorsports that contains four sizes 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", and 3/4" all in 10' lengths. I figure some good E-tape and an afternoon should do it.

No install yet, too rainy(if it was a little colder it would snow) and my buddy's garage has been full of busted up mud bogging 4x4's....... ahh rednecks. soon though.
I have in the meantime purchased the necessary zip-ties, and cool-wrap tape. This is not going to be an easy project with the space provided to get to some of this stuff, I may have to scale back what I intend to cover, and or cover some of the tubing instead. I am also considering braided lines, but with the little amount of tubing to sleeve there would be enough left overs for a couple more cars.
