Unhappy Won't do that again. IC piping and IC install

So I installed the IC piping and IC and boy what a pain in the ass. DEJON didn't send enough couplings so Im glad I havd an extra. The fitment of everything was a Bi$CH. I had to mod a few things on the front end with a hammer. LOL

Didn't reinstall the front end yet but took it for a drive and blew off a hose because it wasn't clamps good. My Bad. Tightened it up and took another ride and it boost up really quickly and I don't have a CEL on yet. I'm going to look it over one more time tomorrow to make sure everything was tight. Oh and the Lower IC piping to the TB was a pain in the ass.

I won't do that again.

Also, I wish I was at my shop with air tools. Don't do this without air tools.

BTW, thanks Steve for help with the IC fitment. Had to hammer the front brace a tad. Pictures to follow.

I didn't really have problems with the dejom pipes. The cold side pipe yeah and I didn't use air tools bro. We got the same setup as far as the ic and the piping go lol. Make sure you have silicone couplers and tbolt clamps dude or you will have a nice dent in ur hood like I do now. I learned the hard way

Well I took it for a long drive and no problems or CEL.

I also had to go to Home Depot to get the hardware for the lower DEJON Piping and the holes don't line up well with the MAP sensor so I had to file the MAP sensors bolt hole just a little bit. Like I said, the kit didn't come with enough couplings or T Bolt clamps. Make sure to count them all when you you recieve them. No biggie because I had access to some.

Now, for the good stuff. The car hawls ass and hold boost at 23-25 PSI and can feel the difference. Now to install the DP with Cat but that will have to wait until tomorrow. I do wish I had the rest of the exhaust but will have to wait. Im also ordering the K&N filter E-1989.

I will continue to monitor the setup this week and let you all know.

Went over the T Bolts and found the one on the TB to be at an odd angle so I fixed that. This week will be a test to make sure everything stay connected. I'm going to look at the lower IC piping and see if it's rubbing. If it is, I will pad it with some silicone pieces. I heard Dejon was good but the fitment wasn't so great on the bottom.
