I tried clocking mine like the cobalt crowd, it really screwed up my trims. I had to clock it back around and fiddle with it to even things out. But yeah, it definitely has an effect

I haven't gotten any further CEL's lately for the intake. Got Red back from the dealer today. Running like a champ again, but am soo ready to get HPT in there.

Link to air filter clocking thread, please. I'm lazy, I'll admit it.

I'm right there with ya, HAHN has had their fingers into the Eco's a long time.

Too bad they need a bike to run 9's .

I do enjoy their Cobalt intake design, agree it's probably the best, still don't get the use of steel piping, but it's one of those outdated things that matched his tuning approach.

Depending on the steel, doesn't it usually have less heat soak than aluminum?

yes because of the density of some type of steels. the atoms are closer together, acting more as a sheild while aluminum soaks.

as far as the CAI for the HHR. Bill himself told me the only reason they never followed through with one for us, is because the stock GM set-up was good from the start. If you notice even the K&N kit only changes one tube, a taller lid, and bigger filter.

Nice write-up. Anyone know if ZZP has these back in stock? I might just grab one and throw it on the charge card. I'm already tuned so CELS shouldn't be a problem.
