2.2 IMCO muffler

Hello,
I know I'm going to beat a dead horse, but here it goes. I've read to use a IMCO muffler (T-909) for a good sound quality. A lot of people use the T-924, but they have a 2.4 engine which is 2 1/4" pipe. Has anybody used this muffler on the 2" system and found it was "better" with a more "deeper/mellow" sound?
Thanks, I have to go weave baskets now, the men in white coats told be so.

If you go to the IMCO website and click on "Turbo" mufflers it gives you all the dimensions for all the sizes they make. Internally they're pretty much the same as I recall, so I doubt the sound would be noticeably different. I haven't checked that site since I put an IMCO on about 4 Years ago. I went for the one whose inlet and outlet pipes were closest to the size of the 2.2 exhaust pipe, which I 'think' was the T-909. Can't say for sure anymore, any paperwork I had when I bought it is long gone!
