Air intake hose

So i went to change my air filter today and as i was pulling the air hose off from the side of the air box or tore the hose by accident
and i wasnt really looking to buy a over priced short/hot air or cold air intake system when i have a green washable high performance filer - factory replacement that works fine for me.
Any ideas?

Besides obvious of first taping the hose together for time being
or stopping at local chevy dealer

Get yourself a roll of real Duct tape, not Duck tape and wrap the tube from end to end. The silver mylar does not look too bad. You will be shocked at the price GM is asking for a new one.

Taped mine with Black tape, works just fine, even passed Cal Smog.
