I've ran these type of intakes on a couple of vehicles and they will get you a slight SOTP feel. Noise is the big factor for most. I don't care for the CSG cause of the filter location and the lack of heat shield. But they do work.

Others will argue, but I like the composite tubing and the heat shield. The design also sealed against the hood. Only the fender side was really open and that is where fresh air entered. It also kept the filter cleaner compared to it being totally exposed. I ran that type on a 94 delSol DOHC VTEC and has to clean the filter at least once a year.

But, you mileage may vary......
I completely agree. Other than about the CGS working that is.

Deb-no vice? When I was a teen I put a vice on my desk in my bedroom (lived in an apartment house). Same desk I did my homework on. I just drilled holes and mounted it on the end. Every good mechanic need a good vice

The only vise I have now is smoking...wait a minute...that's vice, isn't it?

I really don't have a whole lot of use for one, so I just improvised. Worked great and gave my boyfriend a chuckle when I told him what I was going to do to bend the support bar.
