cobalt ss springs??

i know the cobalt ss springs are compatible with the hhr but do they actually make a difference in the ride or even lower the car?

Not much change in ride quality and ride height. Little stiffer and maybe .5" lower. However, the springs aren't MADE for the weight of the HHR and even though they fit should NOT be used. Springs made for the HHR's chassis and weight should be used. Nothing else.

i agree with jason on this. it's like going to a shop and having your springs heated with a torch to have the lowered look.
