i think it handles great in the snow i guess cuz im used to driving my 89 camaro ircoz in the snow which absolutely sucked in the snow, so when i drove the hhr in the snow it was like a tank to me lol

oem firestones are junk, mine came off after 100 miles. no 50-55 series tire is going to be a handler in winter.a problem with many newer vehicles,older ones had narrow tires, buy the best rated tire you can afford, check all ratings from consumer reports or tire rack
