Just had one today

Check the South Pacific Region section here. We meet about once a month and would love to have you join us. We had a real nice time today. Cruised PCH from Huntington to Dana Point and had lunch. I think there were 15. Check the post for pics.

I agree with 08BlkSS - 4 cylinder engines, normally aspirated, turbocharged, or supercharged, do not produce pleasing exhaust notes without a muffler. Come to think of it - that goes for most internal combustion engines of any configuration.

At this point sense you have already SAWZALLED off your muffler you could install a CGS axel back muffler or maybe a Vortex as "Curley" has done. You have some options. Provided of coarse you didn't cut to much off the exhaust pipe. Look around the 2.2 performance threads and maybe yall will get an idea.

I'm new to upgrading my HHR, I go a 07 2.2 and thinking about starting with a new muffler, but just plain cutting it off can't be that good. I wasn't sure bout if I should get a cat back or not, I really like flowmaster and heard the 60 series on others that I like, but don't want to have to do a lot of tuning just to add a new muffler, so I though that be a good place to start.
