Silver11- Thank You Silver11, It's an old school look imo..

Insulation: I have some coming, brand is Thermo Tec* that is self adhesive. Good to resist 2000* radiant heat.. .062" thick. Getting it from Summit.. Jegs has it as well..

Greybeard- Thanks for your psychic abilities !!!

Jay-
I suspect perhaps you didn't put paint on heavy enough.. Shake can for at least 1 minute once ball starts rattling, before beginning.

The VHT* wrinkle plus requires at least 3 full wet coats. Waiting 5 (timed) minutes between each coat.

1st coat should be shot in one direction (say Horizontal) & wait 5 minutes

2nd coat should be sprayed Vertical & wait 5 minutes

3rd full coat sprayed Diagonal. (otherwise it can look like zebra stripes)..

Ideal Temp should be at least 60* & humidity not higher than 60%

If either of these weather conditions are not present, you can still shoot. But I would recommend having a heat gun, or hair dryer to blow hot air on as a pre-heat to your box.

Then use it on finished paint to help kick the wrinkle paint into turning..
