How to get a Trifecta Tune
I have been reading how great a tune is for the hhr. They seem more cost efetive than puting in a cat back system in. I am considering about having one done to my 2.2 hhr. When I have looked on their site, it doesn't seem like they support the hhr anymore. Does anyone know how to get a tune for my hhr? I have a 2011 LT with a 2.2 and a automatic transmission.

Go straight to the Trifecta website for information! We have done pretty much all of the bolt on upgrades and the Trifecta was the best "Bang for Your Buck"..... Just don't ask for performance with better gas mileage, it don't work like that.....

I emailed trifecta directly yesterday, just waiting for a response.

I sent them an E Mail early last week and got a reply from Michael right away.
They do not support the 2.2L or the 2.4L any more.
When I told them I would be leaving the 2.2L stock he said he thought they might be able to fill that order for $598 including the flash cable. He did not promise, but thought it could be done. He would have to double check.
In that reply he directed me to their client services site for a response. I went there to reply but could not make the reply box function so I have sent him 2 separate messages trying to get the final decision but no response so far.
I am not sure why they make it so difficult to communicate with them. I have several questions I need answered but not sure if we will ever get to that point.
Looks like the price has gone up considerably.
I would really like to buy the Tune and then find a qualified tuner to do the install as I do not have a Lap Top. I don't know why I could not just set up my PC on a table by the car to do the job.
Anybody know how long the flash cable is ?
How difficult is it to install ?

Seems I'm stuck with the stock tune for eternity!

A thought came to mind on the fuel octane requirement for the 2.2L with Trifecta.
If I am going to just tune a stock engine and am not going for Balls to the Wall why would I need to up the 87 octane fuel with the 2.2L.
Possibly to stop pre ignition and possible damaging results ?? or maybe just a little better performance ??
I can give you this opinion for sure.
I have been driving my stock 2010 1LT 2.4L w/auto for almost a year now. I just bought a stock 2011 1LT 2.2L w/auto.
Both cars have the same mileage 22,500.
Both tanks full.
Both have a spare tire.
Both with just me in car.
Both cars empty of extra weight.
Both running 87 octane fuel.
No question, the 2.4L is quicker off the line, and I think just slightly faster the rest of the way to 60mph.
Just the seat of the pants feelings but getting out of one and into the other it is a pretty good comparison for me.
