Smile New Header for my HHR Panel

Just purchased a Nice looking Header off Ebay, has anyone already installed this one.

Will it be a simple swap with the original exhaust manifold, is there anything I should know before I start this project.

Once completed I will be installing a 2.4 intake manifold for my 2.2 ecotec.

Thanks

I thought I read somewhere that the 2009 2.2 already has the same intake manifold as the 2.4. In which case nothing would be gained. If you have a pre-2009 2.2 then swapping may gain you something.

Can someone confirm this?

The color is a function of material thickness and temperature. It will definitely turn at the inlet point as the exhaust gasses rise in excess 1000°F. There is no solution for this (except to retain the stock cast manifold, which is also discolored by the heat, but not typically noticable).

Do you guy's believe an increase Average of 12-14 horsepower gain by installing any header on a 2.2.

Any one know if a Cabolt ss GMPP exhaust system would fit on a HHR 2009.

I think a couple hangers need to be relocated and it will need to be shortened a couple inches. Should be doable though.
