the K&N is effective
put one in the wifes Nox
better power and lil improved mpg, like 1 to 2 mpg

its not hard just a pain in the butt

1. loosen the bolt on the clamp on the rubber hose going to the engine on front to the air filter
2. reach toward the back of the filter box and gently pull up,,, there are 2 grommets the filter sits on back there. it takes a good pull. there is a grommet on the front left as well but it comes off easy,,,just make sure u get it lined up when you put it back on
3. gently pull the whole filter out of the rubber tube in front and ease out the
tube to the left to the fender well
4. on the back side of the filter there are 7 star head bolts or screws. remove them and you are there
5. replace filter and reverse the process

when you put it back on, slip it in the boot then line up on the grommets on back, then the front left one, put the hose in firewall (it just fits in snug) then tighten the clamp once all is in the right place and sits right

hope this helps
