Misfire can cause rise in temp, the other cylinders are working harder.

If that 1 cylinder is low and the CEL is always P0303, then I would say the misfire is continuous. Even if you and/or the car only see it randomly, I will bet that misfire is always happening.

FYI. 174-178 coolant temp on the highway is too low. Thermostat is sticking open or someone replaced it with the wrong one.
Yeah, the cylinder is low and CEL is always P0303. I felt the misfire shaking when misfire happened during idling. I didn't feel anything when CEL light was on during low speed. On highway, the car seems pretty smooth.

Today I drove many local, the average temperature of the coolant was aroubd 190-210. I guess I shall check the Thermostat? I don't quite follow the relationship between the misfire here and the Thermostat.

Yeah, I used 50/50 Dex-cool coolant. Will check the Thermostat. I didn't touch the Thermostat on this car.

Will the other cylinders work even harder on highway? Wondering why the coolant temperature on the dashboard is lower on highway but higher on local.

Not sure, maybe the blower fan?

I will try Engine Restore to see if that could somehow improve the compression. I totally put the seafoam into the spark plug holes four or five times, the first two, I got the engine running smoother, obviously observable. And the misfire happened less. But now, it is more frequently even than before. I saw the ad of Rislone. Wondering if anyone here used it before.

If the Seafoam hasn't cured it, don't waste the time with Engine Restore. They work on the same principle of cleaning deposits and freeing stuck parts such as piston rings.
You're at the point now of needing to do a leak down test.

Seafoam is a different product than Engine Restore:
RESTORE Engine Restorer & Lubricant is a high performance oil additive that increases compression in older high-mileage engines. The unique CSL formula fills in worn areas of the cylinder walls to reduce blow-by and RESTORE compression to near original levels. Restoring cylinder compression improves combustion to increase horsepower, reduce oil burning, maximize fuel mileage and RESTORE peak engine performance. In addition, it provides extreme pressure lubrication to help protect engine components from excessive wear. Compatible with conventional or synthetic oil.
Will it really help? You have nothing to loose at this point.
YouTube does have videos about it.

Last time I used Engine Restore, it was terminal. Perhaps the bottom end was to far gone?

That was suggested a week ago
